NOV  1^ST  2018  – SEMA WINNERS.  Las Vegas, Nevada…..Congratulation to our Canadian entry for the SEMA “Battle of the Builders”  contest for winning the Sport Compact category with a custom built 1972 Mazda R100.  The competition had over 50 entries and just being excepted to entry is a great honor but having a chance to win and then WIN in the USA  competing against some of the top builders is quite the accomplishment.  Rod an Abbotsford resident and owner of Rod’s Hot Rod Resto’s is a major player in the North American world of custom builders.  With over 100,000 people attending each day for 4 days the Tradeshow is one the best in North America.

VANCOUVER BIKE SHOW was a great success in raising money for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. NitroLube gave out samples of the new powerful Cycling Lube for a donation to the cause and would like to thank all the members of the “Ride For The Kids” Cycling Team for helping make this event a success. SEMA Show…Congratulations to HOT ROD RESTOS from Abbotsford, B.C. for their impressive Canadian car entry into this year’s SEMA Expo in Las Vegas.  Only 100,000+ people viewed the show and HRR was a hit with fans from all across the world. We were proud to be Canadians. The talent in doing this Restoration was just amazing.  Congrats to Rod and his Team on such a great job and representing us Canadians at the show.

Another wonderful week in Las Vegas at the SEMA-AAPEX and all those beautiful vehicles and so much excitement. There was a bucket load of Movies Stars that all showed up in the various booths and showed us all the new project builds, New products and so much more, as well as 100,000+ people from around the world that came to see this amazing spectacle.  The NitroLube staff enjoyed their week and came away with some great new friends and distributor and supplier connections.   You have to go if you have never been…It’s definitely on the Bucket list for Car buffs.

Sleepy Hollow Hot Rod Coaster’s Car Club Car Show in Sechelt, B.C. was a success. www.coasterscarclub.ca/sleepy-hollow Hundreds of classic cars attended the 16th annual event last weekend…..even Elvis showed up.

On Saturday there was Drag Racing at the famous Sechelt Airport. Very unique venue with planes taking off in-between the race runs. “NitroMike” was a crowd hit with the Walking Tall wheel stander.

NitroLube made some new friends and received the attention of many new racers which are now sporting the NitroLube logo on their race car.

NitroLube was honored to be involved and invited to participate with the Canadian BAJA1000 YOLO Racing Team as they attended the 19TH Annual Great Canadian VW Car Show, in Coquitlam, B.C. this past weekend.

Some of the best looking and extreme VW’s vehicles were on exhibit. Some amazing work by some dedicated car enthusiastic made the show very exciting with trophies going to some well deserved participants. NitroLube along with the YOLO Racing Team were bringing awareness to the Firefighters charities Drive-a-Thon and raising money for a very good cause.
